Denial Nation
For four years of the Biden Administration, we clearly saw the cognitive and physical decline of President Joe Biden. It seems those he surrounded himself with and the mainstream media covered up the fact that he was not in control of the nation. Who ran the auto-pin that signed the presidents name to life-changing decisions for average Americans?
This is a scary thought, but we must be honest and admit, “It happened.” We were gaslighted, being taunted for our daring to question President Biden’s mental acuity to serve. Now, we are discovering through the same mainstream media that yes there was an issue. It’s like they are cashing in on the things they once denied, even criticized us for daring to admit.
Where does God fit into all of this? God never lost control. God was not caught by surprise.
Paul told the Christians in the Church at Colosse the following:
“…for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.
17 He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together (Colossians 1:16-17 NLT).
God is sovereignly in control of the world.
What happened to our country is consistent with the conditions that will be present when Jesus returns. We experienced a little of what the socialist/communist ideals sound and look like. Whether complicit or not, Joe Biden helped to propel this nation into as much of an anti-Christian, anti-Bible, anti-Jesus nation as possible. We tasted a little of what life would be like without including the God of the Bible. It is a violent, self-centered, anti-semitic, anti-Christian posture that played exactly into the hands of Marxists and radical Islamists. Who would have thought that communism and radical Islam would become bed fellows? Both have the goal of destroying America. The enemy of my enemy is my friend comes to mind.
This experiment by the Biden administration miserably failed the American people. Now, God has given us a president who at least is friendly toward the things and people of God. What we must not do is to place our faith in the new administration, but place our faith in Jesus Christ, the King. President Donald Trump is doing so many things right, but our eyes must continue to be upon the Lord for help and deliverance.
May we never come back to the place where dissing God is cool! There is a contemporary Christian song that suggests if being a Christian isn’t cool, I’m okay with not being cool. But being a Christian is cool!
